SPAM® Fritters

Meat and 2 veg. Dinner is done.


  • 1 can of SPAM® Classic 340g
  • 150g plain flour
  • 225ml cold water
  • Oil for frying


  1. Cut SPAM® into six thick slices.
  2. Put the flour into a mixing bowl, gradually add the cold water and whisk until the mixture is fully blended and smooth. It should be quite a thick coating batter.
  3. Heat the oil in a large frying pan.
  4. Dip each slice of SPAM® into the batter, drain off excess and place in the hot oil.
  5. When golden brown, drain on kitchen paper.
  6. Serve with chips and peas.
