The classic toastie with a SPAM® Brand twist. It tastes even better if someone else makes it for you.

Ingredients

  • 1 can of SPAM® Classic 340g
  • 6 slices of cheese
  • 12 slices of bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 60ml of milk
  • 45g of butter or margarine

Directions

  • 1.

    Cut SPAM® Classic into 12 slices.

  • 2.

    Layer cheese and SPAM® Classic between the bread slices.

  • 3.

    Mix eggs with milk, quickly dip both sides of sandwiches into egg mixture.

  • 4.

    Sauté in butter in a frypan over medium heat until cheese melts and both sides are browned.  Serve immediately.
